My Story
​
Dr. Rojas was born and raised in Colombia. He completed his residency and fellowships in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, and Critical Care at the University of Miami, where he was selected as Chief Fellow in his final year of training.
​
In 2009, he moved to Alaska to practice pulmonary and critical care medicine. He has served as Pulmonary Medical Director at both Alaska Regional Hospital and Providence Alaska Medical Center, where he currently serves as ICU Medical Director.
​
Dr. Rojas also works closely with the Providence Cancer Center and the Alaska Lung and Nodule Center, focusing on early lung cancer detection, including the use of advanced diagnostic tools such as endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) and ION robotic navigational bronchoscopy.
